1990s

The Chevrolet Tracker line of mini and compact SUVs has been around since 1989. If you're driving one of them today, though, it's likely from between 1998 and the model's final year, 2004. This period was during its second generation.

Initially, the vehicle had an I4 engine, and a unique convertible SUV body style was available. In 2002, base, LT, and ZR2 trims were options, and styles were two: a two-door convertible and a four-door hard top. Two- and four-wheel drivetrains were available, as was a five-speed manual transmission. Features included anti-lock brakes, daytime running lights, air conditioning, and more. By 2004, the model even had a V6 engine.
